SACRED CIRCLE
FOR GIRLS

A Six Session Series
for Self-Connection, Confidence, & Emotional Thriving

• For Girls 11-17 Years-Old •
Saturdays, Bi-Weekly
September 21 - November 30, 2024

In Person | West Asheville, NC

Sacred Circle for Girls is an experiential and educational program for highly sensitive girls aged 11-17 (two age cohorts), grounded in personal sharing; learning about the connection between the physical and emotional body; and cultivating belonging.

Does your teen experience or struggle with…

  • Emotional sensitivity (feeling things deeply and/or having big emotional responses)?

  • Physical sensitivity (easily affected by bright light, loud noises, etc.)?

  • Extensive mental/emotional processing and/or concern about the needs and feelings of others?

  • Overwhelm or anxiety?

  • Difficulty navigating transitions or changes?

  • A sense of being different than peers; lack of belonging?

  • A contemplativeness about life and/or maturity beyond her years?

If you answered “yes” to any or all of these, Sacred Circle for Girls is for your daughter!

In our six Sessions together, GIRLS will:

  • Be in and co-create a safe and joyful space for authentic connection, personal sharing, and witnessing others

  • Engage in guided meditation, journaling, and activities for introspection

  • Learn how to navigate stressful situations and big feelings in healthy ways

  • Learn about the nervous system and its role in emotional responses

  • Learn body-based practices for emotional attunement and regulation

  • Explore what intuition is and how to nurture it

  • Build self-awareness, self-trust, and resilience

  • Connect with like-minded girls to cultivate friendship and belonging

  • Be welcomed and celebrated exactly as they are

Our experience with Meredith was wonderful. She was able to create a welcoming, warm, and safe space for our girls to be themselves as well as to go deeper and explore their inner workings. She was also able to create a perfect balance between fun, ‘doing the work,’ and learning. Our girls also really enjoyed being around her because she had great energy!”

A lover of learning, art, women’s issues, health and wellness, and collaboration, I have had a multifaceted educational and professional life. Teaching and engaging with youth has been at the forefront of my work from the get-go. While the content of my teaching has evolved over time, I have consistently been driven to facilitate experiences in which others feel enriched in their connections with themselves, their communities, and the world around them.
